Sometimes I hate the way I am.
Sometimes I can't stand to be in the same room with myself.
Sometimes I want to hit myself until I stop breathing.
Sometimes I want to cry, but nothing ever comes out.
Sometimes nothing in the world makes sense to me.
Sometimes I feel like happiness would flourish in my absence.
Sometimes I wish I were smarter.
Sometimes I wish I understood people more.
Sometimes I feel that everything in my head is wrong.
Sometimes I feel alone.
Sometimes I hate myself more than anything else in this world.
This is one of those times.
(Happy Fourth of July, everyone.)

Today's Thought
The reason hardly anyone receives the therapy they need? Many of the people who need it most can't afford it. And it's not like we're getting any help from the insurance industry.

Today's Thought
One of the quickest paths to happiness is realizing that you don't need to be rich to achieve it.

Today's Thought
To love is to do everything in your power to deflect the pain in this world away from those who mean the most to you.

All Good In The Hood
It's been too long since my last post. The reason being that things have been going well lately. I'm working part-time - currently full-time actually - at a hospital in Lewiston, which is probably one of the most comfortable jobs I've had yet. The worst part about it is the half-hour commute, but I don't mind it so much anyway. It gives me some listen-to-music-and-chill time.
Dian and I are doing great. We're happy, and we're still making improvements in every aspect of our lives. So many projects are in the works, one of which includes an epic updating with this blog. I plan to fill in the holes... as many as possible. Please be patient.
In two weeks, Di and I will be heading back to Las Vegas for a much needed vacation. We'll spend eight nights there, see as much as we can, walk everywhere, and have a ton of fun in the process. On our second day, we're also taking a tour-bus out to the Grand Canyon, which we've always wanted to see for ourselves. There will be lots and lots of pictures from the whole vacation either way, I assure you.
More to come. Stay tuned.
