At some point, life became less of a journey full of adventure, exploration and wonder... and devolved into a mere never-ending list of things I have to do.

Of all the great arts, our destiny is consistent.

We will suffer tragedy.

But after that tragedy...
With patience and dedication...

The end will be won by love.

Collision

Our mouths collide.
We try to bury our tongues deeper than they can go.

Alive. Awake.

We get high together
And caress each other with fingertips.

Our kisses taste like wine.
Intoxicating...
Sweet...
Delicious...
Divine.

As we merge our energy
You look me in the eyes
Unable to speak
You become a part of me.
I become a part of you.

We become love.

Out Of Touch

Confidence...pride... happiness... contentment... peace... calm... phased-in...

These are all things I have never touched. I've understood the words. I've understood the concepts... But after three and a half decades, I've still yet to feel them.

Someday.

Someday... I will. If even for a moment.

This is my goal.

When they ask the question, "If you could be anything or anybody, what would you be?"...

"I would be me.", is how I'd answer.
