Today's Thought

Whenever I'm filling out a form and they ask me to specify my "race", I always want to write down "human". It may be a whimsically lame thing to do, but I like to think to someone, somewhere, perhaps it will get my point across: On a greater scale, we're all brothers and sisters.

The problem isn't that guns exist, it's that people want to use them.

Today's Thought

I've been working out a lot lately and now I'm totally ripped!! (By "working out", I actually mean "watching Star Trek", and by "ripped" I mean "still being lazy".)

Today's Thought

I'm opening my own exercise facility. Here's my idea: I'll take a massive open room - say an old warehouse - and turn it into a pseudo-swampland/rainforest with hidden, powerful heaters and fog machines to recreate the terrain and muggy climate of Dagobah. The area will contain many paths and obstacles throughout it for clients to interact with. There will even be different achievement levels in my fitness program, the top of which will be "Jedi Master". It will be the ultimate workout facility for Star Wars fans everywhere! ... Oh, and I'm calling it "Hot Yoda".

Sometimes

Sometimes I hate the way I am.

Sometimes I can't stand to be in the same room with myself.

Sometimes I want to hit myself until I stop breathing.

Sometimes I want to cry, but nothing ever comes out.

Sometimes nothing in the world makes sense to me.

Sometimes I feel like happiness would flourish in my absence.

Sometimes I wish I were smarter.

Sometimes I wish I understood people more.

Sometimes I feel that everything in my head is wrong.

Sometimes I feel alone.

Sometimes I hate myself more than anything else in this world.

This is one of those times.

(Happy Fourth of July, everyone.)

Today's Thought

The reason hardly anyone receives the therapy they need? Many of the people who need it most can't afford it. And it's not like we're getting any help from the insurance industry.
